More December fun

We had fun with the parachute in PE.We played lots of fun games.

We went upstairs and teacher read us some Christmas stories and we played some games.

 

We were busy learning our poem 'Rudolph Rudolph' and our songs 'When Santa got stuck up the Chimney' and 'Frosty the snowman' for our concert. We did a great job and teacher was so proud of us. We also learned the song 'Mary' for our school carol service.

Maths groups

We have been doing wonderful work in our in-class maths groups. We have been working on sorting sets.
We have also been working on different ways of representing data.

Our Aistear activities included Cars, Blocks, Jigsaws, Junk Art, Santa's Workshop in our Role Play Area, sequencing the Christmas story, Christmas themed playdough mats, our cutting activity was making Christmas trees using triangles and our creative stations were printing and making Christmas trees........our favourite part was the 'magic' (glitter)! Making Christmas cards and using the new printing rollers.
